An important part of the Scripture Adventures curriculum is memory work. Children will find they easily memorize the short verses introduced in each unit. Plenty of follow-up questions, puzzles, games, and copywork will help them internalize God's word! You can even encourage parents to memorize with their children.
Hands-on Projects
Scripture Adventures in the Old Testament includes hands-on projects to help children apply and explore what they learn about the Bible. Your students will draw a "Days of Creation" poster, make gingerbread kids, create a salt dough map of Palestine, make their own ark of the covenant, and many more creative projects and writing assignments. There is even a script for celebrating a Christian Passover. Choose from the selection of projects to supplement your in-class work, or send the project sheets home with kids to do with their families.
